Metal Frames

  • 100% Pure Titanium: the ideal material for compatible frame designs because it is stronger than steel, lighter than aluminum and hypo-allergenic.
  • Flat-Sheet Beta Titanium Construction: specialized lasers are used to cut all flat-sheet frames and frame components. Unlike more commonly used cutting presses, lasers are the only mechanism capable of creating fames and components free of sharp edges and deformations.

Metal Plating

  • Thick Plating: 5 – 10 micron thick plating insures rich, lasting color and wearability, and far exceeds industry standard.
  • Nickel-Free Plating: 100% nickel-free plating is hypo-allergenic to protect those with sensitive skin and allergies
  • Rice Paper Plating: innovative process developed by Sama Eyewear that utilizes extreme high pressure to crush a combination of platings to create the world’s first nickel-free finish of its kind.

Decorative Embellishments

  • Cast Sterling Silver and Titanium: .925 jewelry grade Sterling silver and technically difficult 100% pure titanium is used to cast decorative frame embellishments like fine jewelry.
  • Precious and Semi-Precious Gems: genuine diamonds, sapphires, rubies, topaz and other precious and semi-precious gems are available with select styles, as are Swarovski® crystals and pearls.
