Heralded by our “Fashion with A Cause” rallying cry, Sama Eyewear’s mission is to help style and hope triumph over ordinary and despair.

Our corporate philosophy is rooted in the belief in the cyclical nature of life (“Sama” is an ancient term meaning “...there is no beginning, no end...”) and the importance of giving back to the community.

Sama Eyewear was founded by designer Sheila Vance who introduced luxury fashion eyewear to the world and as a means for funding the Sam Vance Foundation, a non-profit organization founded in her son’s memory.

Sama Eyewear proudly donates a significant portion of its annual net profits to the Sam Vance Foundation.
